fenec studio on a database in this tab. Nothing you type leaves your browser.
The studio on your serverWhat runs here
fenecdb itself, compiled to WebAssembly (330 KB gzipped) and run
on a worker of this tab: the engine fenec-server runs,
answering the studio as a server would. It holds three collections,
made as the page opens:
products, searched by the words of their description (@text) and by meaning, with a vector of eight (@hnsw);orders, which name a product and come back beside it withlookup;- a week of a shop's
events, counted by the hour withbucket,havingandapprox_count_distinct.
Write whatever you like, create collection and
create index too: Reset data puts every
collection back. The database lives in this tab's memory and goes
with it, unless you keep it in this browser. The language is in
the FenecQL reference.
On your server
The same studio, served by the server to its operators, over its own data and with its token:
fenec-server --file data.fenec \
--http-token "$TOKEN" --studio
open http://127.0.0.1:8080/_studio/There it signs in, holds a scoped token to the rows its policy allows, and adds the server's own numbers. How the studio works.
